Sikalastic-1K - One-component cement mortar - Sika

Sikalastic-1K is a one- component , crack- bridging , fiber -reinforced, cement -based mortar modified with special alkali-resistant polymers.
Sikalastic-1K is suitable for application by brush or trowel.

Features

Application areas :

• Flexible sealing and protection of concrete structures, including tanks, basins, pipes, etc.
• Waterproofing for bathrooms, showers, swimming pools, before gluing ceramic tiles
• Waterproofing for exterior wall surfaces to be backfilled with earth
• Waterproofing for walls and floors in cellars/basements, against negative water pressure
• Flexible protective coating for reinforced concrete structures, against the effects of freeze-thaw and carbon dioxide attack, to improve durability

Application

1. Sikalastic-1K can be mixed with a low speed (~500 rpm) hand drill mixer, adding the right amount of water depending on the respective application.
2. Once a homogeneous mixture is obtained, continue to mix for 3 to 4 min.
3. The mortar must be homogeneous and without lumps. Do not add additional water or other ingredients.
4. Mix per full bag, to avoid poor particle size distribution of the aggregates contained in the powder component.

Depending on the roughness of the support; indicative: ~ 1.2 kg/m2/mm
