SikaCeram-260 StarFlex - EC 1 PLUS variable use adhesive mortar - Sika

SikaCeram-260 StarFlex is a deformable, light-loaded tile adhesive for thin and medium-bed installation up to 25 mm thick.
Depending on the amount of water added, the mortar can range in consistency from thixotropic to fluid.
EC 1 PLUS label: very low VOC emissions .

Application

1. Apply SikaCeram-260 StarFlex to the substrate using a suitable notched trowel; depending on the application area or tile format, also on the back of the tile/board (double bonding, buttering and floating method).
2. Apply only as much mortar as tiles or slabs etc. can be placed or inserted into the fresh mortar during its open time.
3. Do not moisten the mortar bed with water.
4. Apply enough mortar to wet the back of the tile/plate over its entire surface.
5. Insert the tiles/plates into the applied mortar bed and press them down.

Consumption depends on the nature of the surface, the type of ceramic coating, the consistency and the installation technique.
Therefore, the actual consumption may differ slightly from the following values:
