SikaTop-122 FR - Fibre-reinforced mortar for concrete repairs - Sika

Sikatop-122 FR is a pre-dosed hydraulic mortar based on PMES cement for repairing concrete.

Pre-dosed mortar comprising:

• Component A (emulsion resin)
• Component B (PMES cement and special fillers)

After mixing, a dark gray mortar is obtained.

Features

Application areas

• Repair of concrete structures exposed to the marine environment.
• Repair of spalls on posts, sails, balusters, parapets, edge beams, etc.
• Repair of joint lips, stair nosings, corners of beams.

Application

1. The SikaTop-122 FR is delivered in a factory pre-dosed kit.
2. Pour all of component A into a clean, wide-mouth container, then gradually add all of component B.
3. Mechanically mix the two components using a suitable power mixer (1000 Watts) equipped with a 4-spoke propeller at a speed of approximately 300 revolutions/minute.
4. Mixing must continue for at least 2 minutes until a thixotropic and homogeneous mortar of uniform color is obtained.
5. The SikaTop-122 FR is applied with a trowel, following traditional methods, taking care to tighten the product, or by projection.
   Minimum thickness per layer: 3 mm
   Maximum thickness per layer: 100 mm.
6. The SikaTop-122 FR can withstand rain 4 hours after application (at + 20°C).

Consumption

It depends on the roughness of the support as well as the thickness of the applied layer. ~2.1 kg/m²/mm A 35 kg kit fills a volume of approximately 17 litres.

Conditioning :

Box of 1 kit of 14 kg including:

• Component A (emulsion resin), 2 kg plastic container.
• Component B (cement and special fillers), 12 kg plastic bag.

35 kg kit including:

• Component A (emulsion resin), 5 kg plastic container.
• Component B (cement and special fillers), 30 kg kraft paper bag.
