Sika Booster-20 S - Curing accelerator - Sika

The Sika Booster-20 S is a hardening accelerator developed to be used in conjunction with 1-component PUR adhesives. The Sika Booster-20 S contains the amount of water needed for the glue to harden. This hardening therefore proceeds independently of the ambient humidity of the working environment. However, the rate of hardening may be affected by the ambient temperature. Apart from accelerated hardening with the Sika Booster-20 S or conventional moisture, the final characteristics of the glue after complete hardening are virtually identical.

Areas of application:

The application of 1-component PUR adhesives with the Sika Booster-20 S requires two-component dosing equipment to meet Sika System Engineering specifications. The Sika Booster-20 S and Sika glues are mixed during the application process using a static blender. The choice of the type of blender depends on the application and must be established by appropriate testing. The process must be confirmed by Sika's Corporate System Engineering department.
