2-component pre-dosed micro mortar applicable by roller for additional waterproofing.

The SikaTop Pool and Cellar Paint Coating comes in a pre-dosed kit including

• component A (emulsion resin)
• component B (cement and special fillers).

Application areas

The SikaTop Enduit Peinture Piscine et Cave is used as a complement to waterproofing

• swimming pools: interior lining of the pools (wall and base)
• walls of cellars, garages and buried premises
• showers, laundries and all wet rooms

Application

1. The substrate must be clean, sound and cohesive, dust-free and free from traces of oil or any substance likely to impair adhesion.
2. It must have a surface cohesion of at least 1 N/mm².
3. The coating and the screed under the SikaTop Coating Pool and Cellar Painting should not be smoothed but floated in order to have good adhesion.
4. If the support is very closed, plan a sanding before the application.
5. The surface must be moistened to excess the day before and re-moistened the day of application.
6. It should not sweat water.
7. If the temperature is close to 30°C, moisten as the work progresses.

Implementation _

1. Application is by brush or roller with medium-long hairs.
2. The particular points will be treated with the brush (angle, connections, etc).
3. A minimum of two coats are required. Waiting time between 2 coats: 6 hours minimum at 20°C.
4. It is necessary to moisten slightly before applying the second layer.
5. As a renovation layer, on a clean and healthy support, after humidification, apply a layer with a short-haired roller at a rate of approximately 400 g / m².

Consumption

• 1 kg/m² in 2 coats i.e. 1 kit of 6.16 kg for approximately 6 m².
• It is important to respect this consumption. The quality of the coating and its good resistance over time depend on it.

Conditioning :

3 X Kit A+B of 6.16 kg = 18.48 kg:

• 3 cans of 2 L (emulsion resin)
• 3 bags of 4.16 kg (cement and special fillers)
