SikaCem Deactivator 4-6 - Waterborne Surface Deactivator - Sika

SikaCem Deactivant 4-6 is an aqueous phase surface deactivator that deactivates to a depth of 4 to 6 mm.

The product offers excellent curing power.
SikaCem Deactivating 4-6 slows down the hydration of cement to a depth of 4 to 6 mm and must be used on concrete whose Dmax of aggregates is between 12 and 20 mm.

Application

1. Homogenize the product before use.
   As soon as the trowel is finished, spray the SikaCem Deactivant 4-6 evenly, in a single step, over the entire surface of the concrete to be treated.
2. For more efficiency when washing, pre-wet the surface by hosing it down, and leave it for a few minutes.
3. The washing of the surface will be carried out with a high pressure water jet (from 100 to 150 bars maximum).
   Washing/deactivation starts, depending on weather conditions (temperature, sun, wind), between 5 and 24 hours.
4. In case of rain within less than 3 hours after its application, it is necessary to deactivate immediately.
5. If the aggregates become loose during washing, reduce the washing pressure or increase the waiting time.
6. After washing, continue with curing the surface with the Sika Antisol curing product.
