SikaScreed Screed-50 - One-component hydraulic mortar - Sika

SikaScreed Chape-50 is a ready-to-use single-component cement mortar for making screeds and slopes.

Application areas

• Realization of floating screeds, on new or old slabs, for the installation of any type of coating.
• Applicable in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Applicable on floors with underfloor heating by means of water or electric.
• Can be left untreated/uncoated

Application

1. Mixing equipment: cement mixer or electric or pneumatic agitator at low rotation speed (300 revolutions/min) and container with full opening.
2. Pour approximately 1.9 liters of water per 1 bag of mortar into the cement mixer or mixing container.
3. Gradually add SikaScreed Chape-50 Mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained (approximately 3 minutes).
4. Apply the mixture with a nominal thickness in accordance with chapter 5.3.2 of the Buildwise NIT 189.
5. The maximum thickness is 15 cm.
6. The joints (shrinkage, splitting, expansion and peripherals) are dimensioned and treated in accordance with chapter 6 of the NIT 193

Consumption

1 bag of mortar makes approx. 12 L of mortar.
