Flexifoil tile adhesive - Contact adhesive - Aquaplan

Sprayable contact adhesive for bonding the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane both vertically on the roof upstand and horizontally on the roof surface (minimum 15cm from the upstand).
The complete upstand and the first 15 centimeters all around the roof surface must be glued on both sides as protection against the wind.

This contact adhesive can be used both horizontally and vertically.
Thanks to the practical spray can, this contact adhesive can be applied simply and quickly.
This glue is not suitable for bonding joints or accessories.

Application :

For use on bituminous roofing strips, wood, concrete or PIR insulation panels fitted with a glass veil.

Manual :

1. Make the substrate dry, free of dust and grease.
2. Fold your FlexiFoil EPDM membrane 15 cm all the way around.
3. Apply the contact adhesive with the help of the aerosol to the first 15 centimeters of the surface of your roof, the upstands and the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane itself.
   Do not apply more glue than can be cured in 5-10 minutes.
4. Wait until the glue is dry on contact with your finger, carefully fold the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane and compress it well. Make sure there are no wrinkles or any form of air entrapment.
   Always work from the center out to the sides.
   Then compress well using an EPDM roller.
   This contact adhesive is used at the rate of 0.35 L/m2 applied on both sides.
5. Finish the roof edges with aluminum profiles from Aquaplan.
