Flexifoil overlay - Contact adhesive - Aquaplan

Ready-to-use contact adhesive for bonding FlexiFoil EPDM .
Ideal for grouting or applying EPDM accessories such as rainwater drainage, corner pieces or a sleeve .

This black contact adhesive should be applied on both sides and gives a very strong adhesion of FlexiFoil EPDM .
The grouting is elastic and water resistant.
Can also be used if necessary for bonding upstands.

Application :

To be used for bonding the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane to the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane.
Can also be used for bonding the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane to a dry support such as wood, concrete, bitumen or PIR insulation panels fitted with a glass veil.

Manual :

1. Dry and clean the support.
2. Grouting: Fold back the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane by 10 cm.
   Keep the first 2 centimeters free for the waterproof finish by means of FlexiFoil Details & Joints.
3. Apply the black contact adhesive to the next 8 cm of both the membrane on the roof and the membrane that has been folded back.
   Wait until the glue is dry on contact with your finger, carefully fold the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane and compress the membrane well.
   Make sure there are no wrinkles or any form of air entrapment.
4. Apply FlexiFoil Details & Joints using an applicator gun on the remaining 2 cm width against the compressed part.
   Firmly compress the joint lengthwise so that the product comes out under the jointing.
   Dispose of any excess quantity.
5. Accessories: Draw your accessory on the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane.
   Hold the two 2cm free around the perimeter for the waterproof finish with FlexiFoil Details & Joints.
6. Apply the black contact glue to the place where the accessory will be placed, except the last 2 centimeters all around and do the same on the accessory itself.
   Wait until the glue is dry on contact with your finger, place the accessory and compress well.
   Make sure there are no wrinkles or any form of air entrapment.
7. Apply FlexiFoil Details & Joints using an applicator gun on the remaining 2 cm all around the already compressed part.
   Firmly compress the perimeter so that the product comes out under the joint.
   Dispose of any excess quantity.
