FLEXcement Plus - Flexible tile adhesive - PTB Compaktuna

FLEXcement Plus is a dry composition which gives an adhesive with great “ flexibility ”, ready for use by the simple addition of water.

Features :

• Extraordinary adhesion that far exceeds that of traditional adhesive cements
• Remarkable elasticity that traditional adhesive cements do not have.
  FLEXcement Plus can therefore economically replace paste glues for gluing on chipboards.
• A set of qualities that provides a solution in difficult cases.
  FLEXcement Plus, for example, provides a solution in the many applications of bonding tiles to a tile support (interior only).

Manual :

1. The application will always be carried out on a clean, healthy surface, free of dust and traces of oil.
   Supports with high absorption are pre-impregnated with a solution of COMPAKTUNA /water (1/4) or PRIMER PO .
2. The panels serving as support must always be securely fixed before starting to place the tiles.
3. FLEXcement PLUS should be mixed with approximately 26% water, i.e. ±6.5 L of water on 25 kg of product.
4. After careful mixing, he lets the glue thus obtained rest for 5 to 15 minutes.
5. Then the glue must be mixed intensively again.
   The mortar is now ready for use.
6. The support is first covered with a thin layer of mortar using a trowel or a notched spatula.
   This layer must be well packed.
7. Immediately afterwards a second layer is applied which is divided into regular grooves using a notched spatula (notched spatula 4 to 10 mm).
8. Then the slabs are laid with a small rotating movement and firmly packed.
9. The open time of the applied layer depends on the working conditions and the support.
   Grouting ( HY JOINT or LARGE SP JOINT ) is only carried out when the glue is sufficiently resistant (wait at least 24 hours, depending on the temperature and atmospheric humidity).
