Joint HY Premium - Quick-setting pointing mortar - PTB Compaktuna

HY Premium Joint is a dry composition which, by simply adding water, produces a ready-to-use jointing mortar .

Features :

• Extraordinary workability and allows easy application and cleaning.
  The result is a joint with a very stable color and a joint with a smooth and closed appearance.
• Perfect for earthenware, ceramic, mosaic, natural stone, etc. tiles. for interior applications.
• Grouting product for floors and walls with a minimum depth of 4 mm and a maximum width of 5 mm.
• Very high sealing, whereby the joint remains clean for longer; is designed for bathrooms and showers.

Manual :

1. Tiles laid with CIMENT-FORT PLUS , FLEX-PAIS , FLEXcement , FLEXcement PLUS , NORMFLEX , FLEXcement RAPID , FLOWBED , PASTAFIX T or with ordinary mortar can be repointed after having respected the drying time given in the respective product sheets, or at the earliest 24 hours after laying the tiles.
2. JOINT HY PREMIUM must be mixed with approximately 28% to 30% water i.e. approximately 1.4 L to 1.5 L of water on 5 kg of product.
   After careful mixing and with a mixer rotating slowly, the grouting mortar thus obtained must be left to rest for 2 minutes.
3. Then the JOINT HY PREMIUM must be mixed again.
   JOINT HY PREMIUM is applied in paste form, i.e. filling the joints using a jointing palette, a rubber spatula, etc.
4. For the ground, you must work with the same pasty consistency (do not fluidize).
   You must ensure that the joint is completely filled with JOINT HY PREMIUM.
5. Remove excess grouting mortar diagonally in relation to the joint, using a dry, hard sponge.
6. After 20 to 30 minutes, remove the last traces of mortar on the tiles using a soft, damp sponge, proceeding diagonally in relation to the joint.
7. Change the washing water regularly.
8. Avoid the use of copious amounts of water when cleaning to avoid discoloration of the joint.
9. JOINT HY PREMIUM is sufficiently hardened after 6 hours (at + 20°C), after which you can walk on the floor again.
10. For very absorbent tiles and in case of high temperatures or lots of wind, the joints must be moistened beforehand.

Consumption :

50-500 g/m², depending on tile format, width and depth of joints.

± 30 mins

Mix ratio:

± 1.4 L to 1.5 L of water per 5 kg bag (± 28 to 30%)

Conditioning :

5 kg: Greige, White, Silver Grey, Mineral, Provence, Beige, Mokka, Manhattan, Clay Grey, Concrete Grey, Limestone, Cement Grey, Anthracite and Black.
