Areas of application
Sikaflex-113 Rapid Cure is intended for indoor and outdoor bonding of various objects for construction and assembly purposes requiring rapid return to service.
Sikaflex-113 Rapid Cure is intended for bonding metals, glass, coatings, concrete, masonry, most natural stones, ceramics and wood.
Application
- After adequate preparation of the substrate, apply Sikaflex-113 Rapid Cure in round beads of 5 mm diameter, respecting a distance of a few centimetres between the beads.
- Use only hand pressure to position the object to be bonded, before skin formation.
- An incorrectly positioned object can be quickly detached and repositioned within the first few minutes after application.
- If necessary, use tape or shims to hold assembled items together during the first few hours of curing.
- Immediately remove any fresh, uncured glue residue.
- Optimum adhesion will be achieved after Sikaflex-113 Rapid Cure has completely cured, i.e. after 24 to 48 hours at +23°C, depending on ambient conditions and the thickness of the adhesive.
