Sikagard Monolastex is a one-component coating in aqueous phase, based on acrylic resins , of high quality for the protection and bridging of cracks in concrete.

Application

1. Sikagard Monolastex is specially designed to bridge existing and future cracking, up to well-defined limits.
2. The system will fill and bridge fine, static cracks up to 1mm wide, provided the product is applied in sufficient thicknesses in these areas.
3. Then apply the chosen system to the repair.
4. Dynamic cracks can be treated in the same way, but cracks larger than 1mm that are still moving should be filled first with a soft sealant.
5. Despite the very flexible nature of Sikagard Monolastex it is advisable to smooth in Sikagard Monolastex on these cracks (> 1 mm) which continue to move.
6. This also applies to joints, including expansion joints.

Consumption

2 coats of each 450 g/m² (0.3 l/m²) on a suitable primer.
These consumptions are defined on flat, non-absorbent supports.

Conditioning

• Bucket of 15 L of thick liquid product (kind of paste).
• 8 standard colors: white, RAL 1013, RAL 6500, RAL 7032, RAL 7047, RAL 9001, RAL 9002 and RAL 9010.
