Plaspactuna - Waterproofing slurry - PTB Compaktuna

Plaspactuna is a dry composition which gives a ready-to-use wash or mortar by the simple addition of water.

Features :

• High sealing, excellent adhesion and elasticity.
• Can be easily painted over and decoratively finished with a structural roller.
• PLASPACTUNA can be colored with pigments e.g. PIGMENTS from a latex paint e.g. ex. POLYCOLOR .
• Applies, both indoors and outdoors, to concrete and any masonry work, to protect foundation walls and to seal rainwater wells, damp areas in cellars, wells, concrete pipes, etc.
• Can be used both on the surface and underground.
• Can be classified as CS IV W2.

Manual :

1. The application will always be carried out on a stable, pure, healthy support, free of dust and traces of oil, at a temperature of + 5°C minimum.
   Porous surfaces must first be lightly moistened.
2. Any saltpeter and old layers of paint or coating are first completely removed.
3. Cracks, cavities and joints are repaired beforehand with PLASPACTUNA mixed to a mortar consistency or with a mixture of RAPOLITH - rapid cement and COMPAKTUNA .
4. Horizontal or vertical angles can also be rounded beforehand with PLASPACTUNA mixed to a mortar consistency.
5. After this preparation work, the support must be sufficiently moistened.
6. To obtain PLASPACTUNA mortar consistency, the dry powder must be mixed with approximately 22% to 25% water i.e. approximately 4.5 L to 5 L of water on 20 kg of product.
   After careful mixing, the mortar thus obtained must rest for 5 minutes.
7. Then the mortar must be mixed intensively again.
   The mortar is now ready for use.
8. To obtain a coating of PLASPACTUNA, the dry powder must be mixed with approximately 25% to 30% water i.e. ± 5 L to 6 L of water on 20 kg of product until a thick mass free of lumps is obtained.
   After careful mixing, the resulting brushing must rest for 5 minutes.
9. Then the brushing must be mixed intensively again.
   The basting is now ready for use.
10. PLASPACTUNA is applied with a wide brush until a thick, uniform, pore-free layer is obtained.
11. A second coat is applied after possibly slightly moistening the first coat and before it has hardened too much (e.g. the following day).
12. A decorative top coat is, if necessary, applied in an additional third coat.
    Minimum total thickness of the whitewash: 2 mm.

Mix ratio:

Mortar: ± 4.5 L to 5 L of water/20 kg bag (± 22 to 25%)
Brushing: ± 5 L to 6 L of water/20 kg bag (± 25 to 30%)

Conditioning :

20 kg: White and Gray.
