Putzuna BA-W - Water-repellent plaster - PTB Compaktuna

Putzuna BA-W is a ready-to-use dry lime/cement plaster suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Features :

Manual :

Support:

1. The application will always be carried out on a raw, clean, healthy surface, free of dust, traces of oil and loose particles.
   The absorbent supports will first be moistened or treated with a solution of COMPAKTUNA (PRO) /water (1/4) or with PRIMER PO .
2. Suitable supports are supports with at least equivalent strength such as brick masonry, building blocks, concrete surfaces, poured concrete, etc.
3. Do not apply on plaster supports, cellular concrete or light insulation stones.

Application :

Adhesion layer

1. We recommend first placing on the support an adhesion layer consisting of PUTZUNA BA-W prepared with a solution of COMPAKTUNA /water of 1 to 2 until a thick slip is obtained, i.e. d. ± 23% mixing water (= ± 5.5 L mixing water per 25 kg bag).
2. We allow the adhesive layer to set before continuing the work.

Coating

1. PUTZUNA BA-W is prepared with ± 18% to 19.5% water, i.e. ± 4.50 L to 4.90 L of water per 25 kg bag depending on the desired consistency.
2. Per 25 kg bag, pour the necessary quantity of water into a tank and slowly and evenly add the dry coating.
3. Mix everything intensively with a slow mixer for ± 2 minutes until you obtain a homogeneous mass without lumps.
   The coating is allowed to sit for ± 2 minutes and then mixed thoroughly again.
4. Apply the prepared mortar to the support either manually with a smoother or by spraying.
5. PUTZUNA BA-W can also be sprayed with a continuous mixer.
6. Distribute and level PUTZUNA BA-W with a ruler or straight slat.
