Sikaflex-552 AT is a high-performance flexible hybrid adhesive based on silane-terminated polymers (STP, Sika Technology).
Sikaflex-552 AT polymerizes under the action of atmospheric humidity to form a durable elastomer.

The Sikaflex-552 AT makes it possible to carry out structural assemblies subjected to dynamic constraints.
The Sikaflex-552 AT has good adhesion to all materials usually used in bodywork companies such as primers for metals and primers, metals and enamelled synthetic materials.
This product is only suitable for use by experienced professionals.

Application

1. Sikaflex-552 AT can be applied at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C.
   Changes in responsiveness and application properties must be taken into account.
2. The optimum temperature for substrate and glue is between 15°C and 25°C.
3. Note that viscosity increases at cool temperatures.
4. To facilitate application, heat the glue to room temperature.
5. To obtain an even thickness of glue, it is recommended to apply the glue in a triangular bead.
6. Apply Sikaflex-552 AT using a suitable cartridge/portion gun or pump installation.
7. Skin formation time is significantly shorter in hot, humid climates.
8. Always assemble components within skin forming time.
9. Once a skin has formed, no more pressing.
