      Sikaflex-521 UV is a one-component polyurethane sealant without isocyanates which polymerizes under the action of humidity in the air to form a durable elastomer.

      Application areas

      Sikaflex-521 UV has good adhesion properties on many supports, and is suitable for making permanent seals.
      It can be used on wood, metals, primers and paints (two-component), ceramics and plastics.

      Application

      1. Sikaflex-521 UV must be applied at a temperature between +5°C and +40°C.
        Optimum application temperature: +15°C to +25°C.
      2. The Sikaflex-521 UV is implemented by means of any application system for single-component product: manual or pneumatic guns (marketed by Sika) or pumping unit.

      Sika 521 UV

      Très bon produit reste souple dans le temps mais a une légère tendance a diminuer de volume avec le temps donc bien charger en quantité à l'origine.

      Collage étanche

      Super produit pour l'étanchéité et le collage . Par rapport à l'ancien sikaflex que j'utilisais, il est plus facile d'emploi ( moins "poisseux" qui colle partout les mains et tout le reste...). Le lissage le plus plus facile se fait avec le doigt trempé dans l'eau savonneuse et un chiffon pour éliminer le surplus éventuel.
