Sika Remover-208 - Removal of uncured adhesive residues - Sika

Sika Remover-208 is a colorless and clear solvent-based cleaning agent for painted surfaces.
Sika Remover-208 is also used to remove residue from Sikaflex products.

Application areas

Sika Remover-208 is used to pre-clean non-porous and heavily soiled surfaces.
Sika Remover-208 can also be used to clean painted surfaces before bonding.

Sika Remover-208 can also be used to remove uncured Sikaflex adhesives and sealants from equipment and tools, as well as to clean dirty surfaces.
This product is intended for experienced professional users only.

In order to be able to guarantee the adherence and the compatibility of the material, it is imperative to carry out tests with the original materials under the conditions of the moment.

Application

1. Wipe surfaces with a clean, lint-free cloth or paper towel soaked in Sika Remover-208.
2. Dampen the cloth by pouring the liquid into it.
3. Never immerse the cloth in Sika Remover-208, as this can contaminate the cleaner.
4. Wipe the surface with the damp cloth.
5. To maintain cleaning power, clean cloths should be used regularly.
   Wipe the surface with a clean, dry, lint-free paper before the cleaning agent dries (evaporates).
6. Repeat the last two steps until no more impurities are visible on a white paper towel.
7. Do not use Sika Remover-208 on sensitive surfaces, such as fresh paint.
8. Carefully close the bottle immediately after each use.

Consumption

Approximately 50 ml/m² depending on the support.
