Sikaflex-268 PowerCure is an accelerated glue specially developed for the railway industry.
The polymerization of Sikaflex-268 PowerCure is accelerated by Sika PowerCure technology which makes it largely independent of atmospheric conditions.

This product is suitable for glazing assembly and bonding applications .
Its exceptional resistance to bad weather and its unique resistance to a wide variety of washing agents make it an ideal solution for making exterior joints in the railway industry.
The Sikaflex-268 PowerCure is compatible with bonding without black Sika primer.

Application

1. Assemble the PowerCure Gun according to the instructions in the PowerCure User Manual.
2. If the application is interrupted for more than 15 minutes, the nozzle must be replaced.
3. Sikaflex-268 PowerCure can be applied between 10°C and 35°C but changes in reactivity and application properties of the product must be taken into account.
   The optimum temperature for glue and substrate is between 15°C and 25°C.
4. Open time is significantly reduced in hot, humid climates.
5. Always complete assembly of components within the open time window of the product.
6. As a general rule, a temperature increase of +10°C reduces the open time by half.
7. In order to ensure a uniform glue thickness, we recommend applying the glue in the form of triangular beads.
