Sikaflex-265 is a single-component elastic adhesive for bonding and sealing commercial vehicle window joints .
Due to its excellent weather resistance, this product is very suitable for exterior finishing joints.

Sikaflex-265 is suitable for bonding without primer.
In combination with the Sika Booster system the drying speed of Sikaflex-265 can be accelerated.

Application areas

Sikaflex-265 is developed to bond and seal glass both in OEM and for the repair market.
Thanks to its excellent smoothing quality and weather stability, Sikaflex-265 is suitable for exterior joints.

Always carry out preliminary tests on the original substrates and under local conditions to ensure the adhesion and the compatibility of the adhesive and the material.

Application

1. Sikaflex-265 can be used between 10°C and 35°C but differences in reactivity and application properties must be taken into account.
2. Sikaflex-265 can be applied manually, pneumatically or electrically with a gun, or with a pump system.
3. The optimal temperature of the substrate and the product is between 15°C and 25°C.
4. Working time is considerably shorter in hot or humid climates.
5. The parts to be glued must be applied within the working time.
6. Do not assemble after skinning.
7. Condition the glue beforehand at room temperature for easy application.
8. To obtain a uniform layer of glue, it is recommended to apply a triangular bead.
