      Sikagard wallcoat N is a 2-component, water-based epoxy wall coating .

      Features

      Application areas

      • Colored covering for interior walls.
      • Applicable in clean rooms.

      Application

      1. First mix component A mechanically.
      2. Then add component B completely to the pot of component A and mix for 2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
      3. To ensure complete mixing, pour the mixed product into a clean container and briefly mix again.
      4. Avoid mixing too quickly and for too long to minimize the inclusion of air.
      5. Before application, check the moisture content of the support, the relative humidity of the air and the dew point.
      6. If the moisture content is greater than 6% (weight), Sikagard-720 EpoCem can be used as a temporary moisture barrier.
      7. Coating:
        Apply Sikagard-Wallcoat N using a short nap roller, brush or airless spray equipment.

      Consumption

      Primary Sikafloor-156+ 20% (weight) Thinner C ~ 0.08 kg/m2
      Sikagard-Wallcoat N+ 5% (weight) water ~ 0.15 – 0.20 kg/m2
      Top coat 2 - 3 x Sikagard-Wallcoat N (roll) 0.15 – 0.25 kg/m2 per layer
      1 - 2 x Sikagard-Wallcoat N (projection) 0.15 – 0.28 kg/m2 per layer

      All the above values are theoretical and do not take into account possible overconsumption due to the porosity, roughness or unevenness of the support, nor possible losses, etc.
