Pawy polymer for repair, bonding and sealing, also before and after application of Aquastop Paste or Liquid.

Areas of application:

Aquaseal is a black and consistent paste for vertical applications and to fill and is applied with a brush, spatula or comb.

• For vertical waterproofing (shower walls, cellar walls,...)
• For repairing bubbles and cracks in roof coverings like roofing.
• For repair ings and metal or plastic pipes.
• For the waterproofing of passages in roofs such as skylights, chimneys, attachment of solar panels and satellite receivers, domes,...
• For the collage of floorcoverings such as tiles, cork, laminate, carpets, insulation plates, hard foams, PIR, PUR,...
• For the renovation and protection of wooden buildings such as verandas, terraces, garden panels,...
• For the repair of lead and zinc corrosion.
• For the renovation and repair of boats, caravans, mobile homes,...
• For the renovation of roofs: on bitumen, tiles, slates, PVC, zinc,...
• For the protection of garden wood underground.
• For the waterproofing of flower trays and tables for cultivation.
• Test adhesion if in doubt.

Aquastop Liquid can be tiled after hardening, using Aquaseal as glue.

• Color: black.
• Density: 1.45 kg/dm3.
• Viscosity: pasty.
• Hardness - DIN 53505: after 3 weeks at 23oC and 50% R.V.: 35 Shore A.
• Shrinking (DIN AND ISO 10563): 4.0%.
• Traction resistance: 10 kg/cm2.
• Breaking point elongation: 500%.
• Module under 100% elasticity at 23oC (DIN 53504 S2): 0.6 N/mm2.
• Application temperature: up to 40 degrees Celsius.
• Thermal stability (hardened): -40c to -90oC.
• Working time at 23oC and 50% H.R.: max. 30 min.
• Hardening in 24 hours: 2 mm (23oC, 50% RV) 100% chemical stability after 7 days (at 23oC and 50% H.R.).
• Chemical resistance:
  • good: water, aliphatic solvents, oils, organic fats, diluted organic acids and diluted alkalis;
  • average: esters, ketones and herbs;
  • bad: concentrated acids and chlorinated hydrocarbons
• Weather resistance: perfect.
• Water vapour permeability (DIN IN ISO 12572): 2.9.
• Preservation: 12 months in the original closed packaging, cool, dry and frost-free.
