Universal silicone - Soudal

Universal Silicone is a high-quality elastic single-component, silicone-based putty.

Characteristics:

• Very malleable
• Unalterable colour and UV-resistant
• Permanent elasticity after polymerization
• Strong grip on virtually all media.
• Typical vinegar smell
• Resists weather conditions

Applications:

• Construction joints.
• All glazing and connecting joints.
• Elastic collages in works involving glass and metal.
• Waterproofing in cold rooms and in container construction.
• Waterproofing in ventilation systems.

Media:

Types: all usual construction surfaces, aluminum, brick, wood, glass, metals, No PVC, not acrylic bathtubs, is not suitable for concrete

Condition: clean, dry, dusted and greased.

Pretreatment: Apply Primary 150 on porous media under high water pressure. No primary is required for non-porous surfaces. There is no adhesion on PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®) and oil surfaces. It is advisable to do a preliminary adhesion test on any support.
