Sikadur-32+ - Epoxy resin based structural adhesive - Sika

Structural glue based on epoxy resin , for bonding , fixing and anchoring , and with advantages in terms of durability.

Sikadur-32+ is a 2-component structural adhesive, based on epoxy resin and special fillers, not very sensitive to humidity, usable in a temperature range between +10°C and +30°C.

Application

1. Apply the mixed glue to the prepared surfaces using a brush, roller or trowel to obtain total and uniform coverage.
2. For optimal adhesion, apply the glue to both substrates that require bonding.
   On slightly damp concrete surfaces (without a film of water on the surface), always apply with a brush and work the product well into the surface.
3. To pour fresh concrete over hardened prepared concrete, pour the concrete while the resin layer is still "sticky".
   If the product becomes shiny and loses its stickiness, then apply another coat of Sikadur-32+ before pouring the concrete.
4. For small anchors or fixings, carefully clean the hole with a round steel wire brush and compressed air (minimum pressure 6 bar), starting from the bottom.
5. Once the hole is completely cleaned and free of any loose particles or dust, pour the product into the hole, avoiding trapping air.
6. Insert the anchor/fastener with a rotary motion into the open time of the glue.
   Some of the glue should come out of the hole.
7. During the curing time, the anchor must not be moved or loaded under any circumstances.

Consumption

~1.5 kg/m2 per mm of thickness, if used as a continuous layer.

0.7 kg/m2-1.0 kg/m2 is the amount normally required to bond fresh wet concrete to hardened prepared concrete.
