EPDM Membrane Fix - Air and watertight membrane - Soudal

Airtight and watertight EPDM membrane, used to guarantee the sealing of exterior facades, generally between the window frame and the building envelope. Supplied with a butyl-based self-adhesive strip. Complies with CE standard: EN 13984. Membrane 0.8 mm thick. Supplied in different roll widths.

Applications:

For air and watertightness of connections, foundations (against rising damp) and door and window connections: exterior side of the interior leaf (before application of facade insulation ), solid exterior walls, ventilated exterior facades and under the window sill (or the bottom of the door).

Manual :

• Apply the glue using a gun in regular triangular beads (every 15 cm) on one of the materials to be glued.
• Always apply a bead or dot of glue to the ends and along the edges and corners of the panel.
• Secure the material and hit hard using a rubber hammer.
• If necessary, prop or support the glued elements. Bonded material can be subjected to full load after 24 to 48 hours.
• Clean with White Spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use (before curing).
• Finishing: Smoothing with soapy water or Soudal Smoothing Product before lamination.
• Repair: With the same product.
