Pre-protect - Water and dirt repellent impregnation - Akemi

Water- based pre-impregnation , no VOC, odorless.

Water-repellent and dirt -repellent impregnation with a particularly rapid protection effect for the protective treatment against damage that may occur in the event of rising damp (efflorescence) on absorbent natural and artificial stone before laying in a bed of mortar .

• Applicable on surfaces with residual humidity.
• Post-treatment possible with Akemi Anti-Stain products or other Akemi Impregnations.
• Also used as a grouting aid.

Use :

1. Impregnate at an ambient temperature of 10-25°C, not in direct sunlight, on a dry surface.
2. Apply the product to all sides using a brush, mop or maximum airtight sprayer, one or two coats being normally sufficient.
3. About 10 minutes after application, the excess that has not been absorbed by the stone must be completely removed using a suitable cloth.
4. Treated boards should be stored in such a way that all sides can dry (eg on racks).
5. The water-repellent effect develops already after drying (about 20-30 minutes), depending on temperature and weather conditions, full effectiveness is achieved after 12-24 hours.
