Application

1. Strictly follow the installation procedures as defined in the Application Methods, Application Guides and Work Instructions, which must always be adapted to the actual situation on the construction site.
2. Apply the primer to the prepared surface using a short-pile roller or applicator pad.
3. Ensure a continuous application without small holes/pinholes, with good coverage over the entire surface.
4. Avoid the formation of puddles.
5. Ensure that the waiting time is respected before applying the next layer.

1. Is SikaFloor-02 Primer ready to use?
   Yes, it is ready to use. However, depending on the surface, it may need to be diluted 1:1 with water.
2. Can I apply a leveling compound immediately after the primer?
   No, you must allow a drying time of 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity.
3. Is this primer compatible with underfloor heating?
   Yes, it can be used on heated screed provided that the heating has been done and the screed is compliant.
4. Can it be used on anhydrite (sulfur) screed?
   Yes, but only after thorough sanding and dust removal. Check the residual moisture content (usually < 0.5%).
5. Is it suitable for outdoor use?
   No, SikaFloor-02 Primer is intended for indoor use only.
6. Does the primer change the consumption of the leveling compound?
   Yes, it often helps to reduce consumption because it limits the absorption of the medium.
