Primer BL - Primer for porous substrates - PTB Compaktuna

Primer BL is a base coat and adhesion primer on non-absorbent and smooth surfaces, such as ceramic tiles, terrazzo , terrazzo , mosaic , concrete , etc.

Features :

• Used before the application of cement-based adhesives, floor and wall leveling.
• Quick-drying binding primer.
• Forms an adhesion bridge on smooth and dense supports.
• Does not contain solvents and is odorless.
• Reduced splashing during application.
• Reduces porosity, protects cementitious adhesives and leveling mortars against rapid dehydration and possible formation of shrinkage cracks.
• Increases the open time of adhesives and improves the adhesion of leveling mortars and adhesives.

Manual :

1. Mix PRIMER BL thoroughly or shake it in its packaging before use.
2. Spread the adhesion primer evenly using a nap roller, brush or similar, over the surface ensuring complete coverage and apply the primer in thin cross layers.
   Avoid the formation of puddles.
3. After PRIMER BL has hardened, immediately begin the following work

Consumption :

±0.050 to 0.150 liter/m² depending on the porosity of the support

Usage time:

± 1h

Conditioning :

1 L and 5 L: Light blue.
