ElixGround - Two-component epoxy floor paint all traffic - Owatrol Pro

Water-based epoxy paint for floors.

" High resistance " chemical and mechanical protection.
Extremely durable thanks to its bi-component formulation.

Properties :

• Easy to apply, designed for industrial concrete floors subjected to strong stresses which it embellishes, decorates and protects. Excellent hiding power.
• ElixGround offers high resistance to:
  • Mild conventional acids and bases as well as harsh chemical cleaners
  • Oils, Solvents, and Hydrocarbons
  • Even permanent wetlands
  • Chemical and mechanical attacks (resistance to abrasion and wear)
  • Heavy and intense traffic: handling equipment, lifting equipment, cars, etc.
• Prevents the formation of dust on concrete slabs and screeds.
• Easy to mix (component A + component B).
• Easy to clean smooth finish.
• Can be applied over existing paints
• The yield can vary according to several parameters: the state and the porosity of the support, the temperature and the relative hygrometry.

Recommendation before application:

As a reminder, in order to avoid any rising damp, a geotextile membrane must have been provided under the concrete slab during construction of the structure.

Application :

1. Mix component A with component B of ElixGround using a mixer adaptable to a drill (or helical) without bringing in too much air, at low speed.
2. Wait 5 min before applying. ElixGround must imperatively be applied within one hour of mixing the 2 components A and B. After this time, there will be a significant loss of adhesion and abrasion resistance properties. Never add water.
3. Apply a very thin first coat, so drawn using a short-haired roller.
4. Deposit approximately 200 µm.
5. Leave to dry between 6 to 12 hours.
6. Apply the second thicker coat. Apply between 200 and 300 µm, with a short-haired roller.

• Interior.
• Factories with intense traffic, circulation aisles, floors of workshops, warehouses, showrooms, playrooms, tiling, garages...

Conditioning :

10L bucket (7.1L + 2.9L).
