ElixResin - Two-component epoxy primer for porous and disaggregated floors - Owatrol Pro

Two-component water-based epoxy primer (mix components A and B ElixResin) to block porous , chalky and disintegrated floors before finishing .

Properties :

• Strong impregnation power, adheres to all types of slightly closed floors.
• Regularizes and standardizes the support. Apply on consistent bases before finishing (ElixGround) in order to promote adhesion and performance over time.
• Easy to apply, blocks dust on concrete slabs and screeds.
• The yield can vary according to several parameters: the state and the porosity of the support, the temperature and the relative hygrometry.
  Between 5 and 6 m2 /L per coat.

Application :

1. Mix the component A of ElixResin with its component B using a mixer adaptable to a drill (or helical) without bringing in too much air, at low speed. Wait 5 min before applying.
2. The mixture must imperatively be applied within one hour of mixing the 2 components A and B.
   After this time, there will be a significant loss of adhesion properties and abrasion resistance.
3. Never add water.
4. Apply a thin coat so drawn using a short-haired roller.
   Deposit approximately 150 µm.
5. Let dry. Wait between 12 and 24 hours before covering ElixResin with its ElixGround finish (data at 20°C and 60% RH max).
   This recovery time can be reduced to 6 hours for pedestrian traffic without any vehicle passage (games room, exhibition room, etc.).

Destination :

• Interior.
• Applies before finishing on concrete floors, cement, slabs, old epoxy paints, tiles (after pickling), ceramics...

Conditioning :

Component A: 7.4 L + component B: 2.6 L. That is a total of 10 L after mixing.
