Aquadecks - Waterborne saturing finish for all woods - Owatrol

The Aquadecks water -based wood saturator will perfectly protect your wood against climatic attacks .

Whether for an application on an exotic wood or for the protection of softwood , the saturator will offer protection to the wood while maintaining its natural appearance.
Applied to the wood of your terrace , chalets or garden furniture, the Aquadecks saturator will not flake off over time.

Recommendations before application:

• The wood must be clean, free of mold, dust, grease stains and any old coating.
• The wood must be dry (max. hygrometry 18%).
• Do not apply in direct sunlight.
• Ensure that it will not rain within 12 hours after application.
  Watch out for morning dew.
• Protect everything that should not be treated.
• Make sure that the wood is raw and that it has not received any prior treatment based on water repellent, anti-checking or color equalizer.
• OWATROL advice : decontamination of the wood may be necessary, if necessary, apply SANIXYL beforehand.

Application :

1. Mix well before and during application. Do not dilute.
2. Apply a coat of AQUADECKS in the direction of the wood, on a surface not exceeding 30 minutes of work.
3. Apply a second coat when the wet appearance of the wood disappears.
4. Brush off any excess product with a brush before drying to avoid any traces of drips or shine. The protection must be in the wood and not on the surface.
5. In the case of spray application, smoothing is always recommended to improve product penetration and give a uniform appearance.
   Important: Do not let dry between coats.

• Exotic woods: teak, ipé, cumaru, bangkiraï, movingui, acacia, maçaranduba...
• Resinous wood: pine, spruce, red cedar, larch, autoclaved or not...
• Thermo-heated wood.
