Belgian bluestone, also called petit granit, is a limestone.

Its dense structure does not allow for the use of impregnation to protect it, a technique usually used for natural stones.

Lithofin Blue Stone Maintenance Product has proven itself for many years in regular maintenance work.

Lithofin MN Protector for Blue Stone effectively complements and optimizes this maintenance.

This is a water-based cleaning product containing special water-repellent and oil-repellent additives and polymers, which are highly effective.

Lithofin MN Protector for Blue Stone penetrates the pores and capillaries of the surface and immediately forms an invisible, extremely thin film.

This reduces the absorption capacity, preventing water, oil, and grease from penetrating and staining. Impurities thus remain on the surface, where they can be easily removed.

Changes in the appearance of the treated surface are minimal or nonexistent. This effect lasts, depending on the stress, from several weeks to several months.

Scope of application:

For the regular treatment of bluestone surfaces. Effectively protects kitchen worktops, sinks, window sills, tables, etc., from stains and makes them easier to maintain. Surfaces can be polished, smooth, or rough.

Instructions for use:

1. Shake gently before use. Surfaces must be completely dry, clean and free of stains.
2. Apply undiluted Lithofin MN Blue Stone Protector with a clean cloth in a thin, even layer and rub to penetrate.
3. For the first application, repeat the operation within 20 minutes.
4. Avoid puddles and the formation of drips, or wipe them away immediately to make them disappear.
5. Do not allow any excess product to dry on the surface; clean or scrub thoroughly within approximately 10 minutes.

1. Does the product change the color of the stone?
   No, the impregnation is invisible. It does not darken the stone and does not give it a shine or wet look. (If you want a wet/shiny effect, use Lithofin MN Color Intensifier or MN Brilliant Shine.)
2. Can I use this product in a shower?
   Yes, impregnation is ideal for bluestone in bathrooms and showers, as it limits limescale buildup and soap scum stains. Good ventilation is still recommended.
3. How long does the protection last?
   Lasts 3 to 5 years indoors, 2 to 3 years outdoors depending on exposure and maintenance. A simple re-impregnation is all that is needed to renew the protection.
4. Is the product harmful or smelly?
   No, it's a water-based formula, odorless, usable even in enclosed spaces.
5. Can the product be applied to polished bluestone?
