Support

Adherent screed

  1. The application will always be carried out on a stable, raw, clean, healthy support, free of dust, traces of oil and loose particles.
  2. The absorbent supports will first be moistened or treated with a solution of COMPAKTUNA / water (1/4) or with PRIMER PO.
  3. On a hard surface, you must apply an adhesion layer with COMPAKTUNA .
  4. This adhesion layer is composed of one volume of COMPAKTUNA and 2 volumes of water.
  5. This COMPAKTUNA /water solution is added to a dry mixture consisting of half cement and half Rhine sand until a thick slip is obtained. You must put the CHAPMIX C20 on this still wet layer.

Floating screed

  1. The plastic film must protrude sufficiently and emerge above the screed.
  2. On insulating underlays, you can work in a floating manner.

Application

  1. CHAPMIX C20 is prepared with ±8% to 10% water i.e. with 2.0 L to 2.50 L of water per 25 kg bag depending on the desired consistency.
  2. Mix the mixture intensively for 3 minutes with a mixer at low speed, until you obtain a lump-free and homogeneous screed mortar.
  3. Spread the screed mortar, level it and densify it.
  4. An uncompacted screed mortar will have a high percentage of bubbles and will therefore have a lower compressive strength.
It is also recommended to reinforce the screed.
