Freezteq - Cartridges against rising groundwater - PTB Compaktuna

Freezteq creates a fully waterproof barrier against rising damp.

Compared to other chemical systems, which counteract rising groundwater, FREEZTEQ provides you with a considerable saving in labor time and material costs.
This is a very effective technique which is, moreover, easily applicable.

Features :

• The only tools you need are a 22mm drill bit, a sufficient number of FREEZTEQ cartridges and a freezer to freeze these cartridges.
• Walls of any thickness can be treated with FREEZTEQ.
• FREEZTEQ cartridges can be inserted directly into mortar joints, often the main passages for rising damp.
• Frozen cartridges can be installed easily and quickly.
• Waste, which could harm your health or your interior, cannot be released.
• Flammable liquids are not present; the FREEZTEQ process presents no fire risk.
• Odorless.

Manual :

1. Drill into the joints. The distance between the holes should be 11 cm.
   Drill 25 mm from the wall thickness.
2. Drilling can be done from the inside or the outside.
   For external walls, we generally choose the exterior wall.

The floor inside = A concrete construction

1. If the floor inside consists of a concrete construction, then drill into the first joint just above the floor surface (approx. 75 mm.).
2. You can drill both indoors and outdoors.

The floor inside = Raised wood

In the case of a raised wooden floor, you drill as close to the wooden surface as possible.
If you are drilling from the outside, then stay 150mm above ground level.

1. In each drilled opening, four sets of cartridges must be installed.
2. Remove the top side of the frozen FREEZTEQ cartridge using scissors or a Stanley knife.
3. Use rubber gloves to push the frozen FREEZTEQ cartridge directly from the package into a pre-drilled opening.
4. Use enough FREEZTEQ so that the entire borehole is filled.
5. Repeat this action until all drilled openings are filled.
6. When the FREEZTEQ is fully absorbed, you must then install three sets of cartridges again.
   In total, you must therefore carry out this process four times.
   It is important that you can install these four series within 24 hours.

Consumption :

100 cartridges to treat ± 3 m for a wall (brick) with a thickness of 22.5 cm
