Soudaseal EPDM - Hybrid polymer adhesive sealant EC 1 PLUS - Soudal

Soudaseal EPDM is a high quality, one-component, hybrid polymer based adhesive sealant.
Neutral and elastic, it is used for bonding and sealing EPDM membranes when applied indoors and outdoors.
Soudaseal EPDM is an element of the Soudal Window System.

Features :

Applications:

• For bonding EPDM vapor barriers and waterproofing membranes in façade applications.
• For bonding and sealing EPDM membranes to each other and to construction works, masonry, concrete, plaster, cement, aluminum, wood, etc.
• Ideal for airtight connections in window installations.

Instructions for use:

1. Apply Soudaseal EPDM, with a manual or pneumatic gun, to the substrate with an uninterrupted layer of approximately 5 mm.
2. Apply the EPDM membrane into the wet adhesive and press.
3. An uninterrupted layer of adhesive with a thickness of 1 to 2 mm and a width of approximately 25 mm ensures the best curing.
4. Soudaseal EPDM can be removed from materials and tools with Soudal 90A adhesive cleaner, Swipex or White Spirit as long as the product has not hardened.
5. Once hardened the product can only be removed mechanically.
