Sika injection-201 CE - Elastic polyurethane injection resin - Sika

Sika Injection-201 CE is a very low viscosity, elastic and solvent-free polyurethane -based injection resin.
In contact with water , it forms a closed and therefore waterproof uniform pore structure, which is elastic and flexible.

Features

• Permanently elastic, can absorb limited movements.
• No shrinkage under continuous dry conditions.
• Low viscosity allows penetration into cracks > 0.2 mm wide.
• Polymerized Sika Injection-201 CE is inert and chemically resistant.
• Solvent-free.
• At low temperatures (< +10°C), Sika Injection-201 CE can be accelerated by using Sika Injection AC-20.
• Can be injected as a single-component system

Application areas

• Sika Injection-201 CE is applied as a permanent, slightly flexible sealant to absorb limited movements, in dry, wet or water-bearing joints and cracks in concrete, masonry and natural stone.
• Sika Injection-201 CE can be injected into the SikaFuko System (not re-injectable!).
• For application in aquifer fissures with hydrostatic pressure, it is necessary to previously inject Sika Injection-101 RC.

Application

1. The surfaces/sides of cavities and cracks must be clean, and free from friable parts, dust, oil and other contaminants preventing good adhesion.
2. Remove impurities with oil-free compressed air.
3. Pour components A and B into a trough and mix slowly and thoroughly for at least 3 minutes (max. 250 rpm) until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
4. Respect security measures.
   The components are delivered in packaging according to the necessary mixing ratio of 1:1 parts by volume.
   Smaller quantities can be measured into different containers.
5. After mixing, pour the product into the pump funnel, mix briefly and apply within the practical duration of use.
6. If the support and/or ambient temperature are below +10°C, Sika Injection AC-20 can be added to speed up the reaction time.
