Akepox 5010 Coloured - Colored construction glue - Akemi

Mainly intended for color-appropriate bonding in the stone industry, natural stones (marble, granite), technical ceramics as well as artificial stones or building materials (concrete, terrazzo) in the visible area.

Its malleable gel consistency gives good stability to the product in the vertical area but also allows to obtain very thin joints to be glued.
Other materials, such as synthetic materials (hard PVC, polyester, PS, ABS, PC), paper , wood , glass and others can be bonded with AKEPOX 5010 Coloured.

Features :

• Great diversity of colors.
• Very low tendency to yellow.
• Easy dosing and mixing thanks to the cartridge system.
• Very good stability thanks to its gel-like consistency
• Very little shrinkage during hardening and minimum tension of the adhesive layer.
• Particularly weatherproof bonding.
• Good heat stability: around 60-70°C for loaded bonding and around 100-110°C for standard bonding.
• No deformation of the glue layer.
• Good resistance to ageing.
• Very good resistance to alkalis, and therefore recommended for bonding to concrete.
• Recommended on gas-tight materials, due to the absence of solvent.
• Bonding of load-bearing construction parts.
• Good electrical insulating effect.
• Good grip on slightly damp stones.
• Recommended for materials sensitive to solvents, such as expanded polystyrene, ABS.
• The food-approved product therefore presents no danger after installation (approved by the Nuremberg Food Research Center)

Use :

1. Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be bonded and roughen them.
2. Remove the cap from the cartridge, insert the cartridge into the gun, operate the handle until material comes out of both openings, if necessary, attach a mixing nozzle.
3. If you use it without a mixing nozzle, the two components must be well mixed.
4. The mixture can be used for about 20 to 30 minutes (20°C).
   The bonded parts are transportable after 6 to 8 hours (20°C), loadable and machinable after 12 to 16 hours (20°C).
   Maximum strength after 7 days (20°C).
5. Tools can be cleaned with AKEMI Nitro Thinner.
6. Heat accelerates and cold retards the hardening reaction.

400 mL cartridge with component A and component B.
