Akepox 5010 - Construction glue - Akemi

2-component construction adhesive in gel form retains its color for bonding visible joints outside and inside , for inlays, reinforcement and embedding work.
Ideal for natural and artificial white stones.

The Gel Mix (50 and 400 mL) and Single Mix (180 mL) cartridges guarantee simple, confident and clean work.
An exact and homogeneous mixture.

Features :

• Very faint natural color
• Very low tendency to yellow
• Easy dosing and mixing thanks to the cartridge system
• Very good stability thanks to its gel-like consistency
• Very little shrinkage during curing and minimal tension of the adhesive layer
• Particularly weather-resistant bonding
• Easily colored with AKEPOX dyes or concentrates
• No deformation of the glue layer
• Good resistance to aging
• Very good resistance to alkalis, and therefore recommended for bonding to concrete
• Recommended for gas-tight materials, due to the absence of solvent
• Bonding of load-bearing construction parts
• Good adhesion on slightly damp stones
• Recommended for materials sensitive to solvents, such as expanded polystyrene, ABS
• The food approved product therefore presents no danger after installation (approved by the Nuremberg Food Research Center)
• Mixing ratio 2:1

Use :

A: Boxed products:

1. Clean the surfaces to be glued thoroughly and roughen them.
2. Mix 2 equivalents by weight or volume of glue with 1 equivalent by weight or volume of hardener until you obtain a homogeneous color.
3. The product can be colored using AKEPOX dyes or concentrates (max. 5%).
4. The mixture can be used for approximately 20 to 30 minutes (20°C).
   The glued parts are transportable after 6 to 8 hours (20°C), loadable and machinable after 12 to 16 hours (20°C).
   Maximum strength after 7 days (20°C).
5. Tools can be cleaned with AKEMI Nitro thinner.
6. Heat accelerates and cold delays the hardening reaction.

B: Cartridge system:

1. Clean the surfaces to be glued thoroughly and roughen them.
2. Remove the cartridge cap, insert the cartridge into the gun, operate the handle until material comes out of both openings, if necessary, insert a mixing nozzle.
3. The product can be colored using AKEPOX dyes or concentrates (max. 5%).
4. If you use it without a mixing nozzle, the two components must be mixed well.
5. The mixture can be used for approximately 20 to 30 minutes (20°C).
   The glued parts are transportable after 6 to 8 hours (20°C), loadable and machinable after 12 to 16 hours (20°C).
   Maximum strength after 7 days (20°C).
6. Tools can be cleaned with AKEMI Nitro Thinner.
7. Heat accelerates and cold delays the curing reaction
