Marmor - Pre-coloured silicon - Akemi

Specially used for grouting natural and artificial stones such as marble , granite , quartzite , sandstone, terrazzo, concrete etc.
The product also has good adhesion to plaster , ceramics , glass , wood , many metals and plastics.

Also suitable for areas with constant humidity and under water in swimming pools, saunas, steam baths as well as in tank construction (except structural colours).

Use :

1. Contact surfaces must be dry, clean, grease and dust free; cleaning with AKEMI Cleaner A of natural and artificial stones, tiles, ceramics, glass, varnished wood and metals; AKEMI Cleaner I for plastic materials and painted surfaces.
2. Use the AKEMI joint bead to avoid triple adhesion of the sidewall and when the joints are deep; for any application in damp rooms and outdoors, use polyethylene jointing beads, otherwise polyurethane sponge jointing beads. Dimension of joints min. 3x5mm.
3. Glue the surfaces at the joint lips with the AKEMI Adhesive Tape.
4. In case of use in humid areas and outdoors, and on special substrates, we recommend that you paint the sides of the joints with our primers (see Primer table).
5. Application temperature +5°C up to +35°C.
6. Apply product and smooth over 5-10 minutes; the AKEMI Smoothing Palette and the AKEMI Smoothing Product provide optimal smoothing (except matte colors).
7. Remove the adhesive strip by pulling it towards the joint before a skin forms.
8. The solidification depends on the layer thickness, the temperature and the relative humidity of the air and amounts to approx. 1-3 mm. per 24 hour period.
9. Tools can be cleaned with AKEMI Nettoyant A.
