Flexifoil surface adhesive - For bonding EPDM membranes - Aquaplan

Ready-to-use surface adhesive for bonding the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane to the flat roof surface up to 15 cm from the roof upstand.
This adhesive glue is applicable on one side of a horizontal support, in particular in wood , bitumen , concrete and on PIR insulation panels fitted with a glass veil .

The advantage of this adhesive glue consists in the possibility of further correcting the placement of the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane.
The glue can be applied partially in strokes or completely.

Application :

For use on bituminous roofing strips, wood, concrete or PIR insulation panels fitted with a glass veil.

Manual :

1. Dust and degrease the support.
2. Lay your FlexiFoil EPDM membrane on your roof surface and let it sit for a few hours.
3. Then fold it in half.
4. Apply the FlexiFoil Glue Surface to the surface of your roof up to 15 cm from your roof upstand or the wall.
   Apply the adhesive glue at least every 8 cm in strokes with a minimum width of 7 mm.
   A minimum stickiness of 50% must be obtained.
   For this partial bonding, the consumption of the adhesive glue is 225 g/m².
5. If desired, you can spread the glue with a roller or squeegee.
   The consumption is then 300 g/m².
6. For complete bonding, a minimum of 90% of the FlexiFoil EDPM membrane must be bonded to the substrate.
7. Unfold the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane between 5 and a maximum of 20 minutes after applying the FlexiFoil Glue Surface.
   No skin should be visible on the bead of glue.
   Make sure that the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane has no wrinkles or air bubbles.
   Compress the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane carefully using a soft broom.
8. Now fold back the other half of the FlexiFoil EPDM membrane and repeat the bonding as described above.
9. Clean your roller or squeegee before the tacky glue has hardened.
10. Always use protective glovesuntil hardened.

Conditioning :

• 2kg.
• Golden yellow.
