Sika AnchorFix-3030 is a high-performance, epoxy resin-based, 2-component , thixotropic sealing adhesive for anchoring threaded rods and reinforcing bars, both in dry and slightly damp concrete, cracked or intact.

Application

1. Unscrew and remove the cap.
2. Cut the plastic.
3. Screw in the static mixer.
4. Insert cartridge into gun and begin applying.
5. Using a drill, drill a hole of appropriate diameter and depth.
   The diameter of the drill hole must correspond to the diameter of the anchor.
6. The borehole must be cleaned with oil-free compressed air using an air lance, pressure: 6 bar.
   Start at the bottom of the hole and clean minimum 2 x until the return air flow is dust free.
7. The drill hole must be carefully cleaned using a special bottle brush (brush at least 2x).
   The diameter of the bottle brush should be larger than the diameter of the drill hole.
8. Pump about twice until both components are extruded into a consistent color.
   Do not use this material.
   Release the pressure on the gun and clean the cartridge opening with a cloth.
9. Inject the glue from the bottom of the drill hole while slowly withdrawing the static mixer and avoiding the inclusion of air.
   For deep holes, use an extension tube.
10. Insert the anchor using a rotating movement into the filled hole.
    The glue should come out at the entrance to the drill hole.
    Important: the anchor must be installed within the open time limits.
11. During the curing time, the anchor must not be moved or loaded under any circumstances
