Rost-Ex - Acid-free rust remover - Lithofin

Slightly alkaline cleaner that removes rust stains and metal oxide residue .

The chemical components transform the rust to make it soluble in water.

A violet color shows the reaction and the remaining particles can be rinsed off with water.

Lithofin Rost-Ex does not change the appearance of the surface and can therefore be used on isolated spots .

Application domain :

This product is suitable for removing rust stains of all kinds, such as metal parts, metal garden furniture, leaks from heating systems, etc., for tiled surfaces, porcelain stoneware, marble, limestone, granite, gneiss, concrete or other artificial stones.

Manual :

1. Apply a generous layer of Lithofin RouilleNet on a dry surface and, if necessary, distribute with a brush. A purple color shows the beginning of the chemical reaction.
2. Leave to act for a maximum of 10 minutes. Do not let dry.
3. Add a few drops of Lithofin MN Multi-Cleanser (or diluted dish soap) to water, brush and rinse well.

Note: do not leave on for more than 10 minutes. In case of insufficient effect, repeat the process.

Any purple color fades over time.

Warning: always test the product on an inconspicuous area of the coating. Avoid contact with metals, lacquers, wood or other sensitive surfaces.

Too long an action time on polished limestone can dull the surface.

The temperature of the surfaces to be treated must not be lower than 15°C.
