Sika FastFix-138 FTP is a single-component, ready-to-use hydraulic micro-concrete , which can be used with the additional addition of aggregates depending on the size of the volume to be filled.

Application

  1. For sealing road manhole covers: apply Sika FastFix-138 FTP, of firm consistency, which serves as a bedding layer for adjusting and shimming the part to be sealed.
  2. Position the part to be sealed.
  3. Pour the Sika FastFix-138 FTP mixed to a plastic consistency, up to the surface of the pavement, in order to properly seal the part.
  4. It may be necessary to vibrate the Sika FastFix-138 FTP mixed to a firm consistency, in order to facilitate its placement and ensure good tightening of the product.
  5. Finish with a troweled finish, flush with the road surface or 3 cm below, in case of subsequent covering with asphalt.

Consumption

Approximately 2.3 kg of Sika FastFix-138 FTP per litre of sealant, i.e. 1 bag of 25 kg for approximately 12 litres of mortar.
