Epoxy-Cave - Waterproof coating for cellars - Aquaplan

Two-component, durable , wear -resistant and vapor-permeable coating, based on an epoxy resin (A) and an emulsion hardener (B), for waterproofing walls and floors fully or partially buried and subject to constant water pressure, such as cellar walls and floors as well as concrete ponds and reservoirs.

This unique mixture penetrates deep into the support, strengthens it intensely and forms an impenetrable layer that has excellent resistance to water pressure.

Off-white in color but can be easily covered with a vapor permeable paint (acrylic for example).

Application :

Can be used on brick, cement or painted cellar walls and floors.

Can also be used for sealing ponds or concrete tanks.

Useful information:

• Store in a cool place (max. 20°C) and protected from frost.
• Do not use if the ambient temperature or the temperature of the support is lower than +5°C or higher than +25°C.
• Treat the cellar in times of low groundwater pressure so that the hardening process can be carried out by low water pressure.
• If applied outdoors, protect from rain for approximately 4 hours.
• Rinse tanks and ponds thoroughly 2-3 times with clear water before using them.

Prepare the substrate:

1. The support must be dusted, degreased and absorbent.
2. Remove any non-adherent particles of cement, plaster, paint residues, salts and mold, using a metal brush or a high-pressure cleaner.
3. Seal cracks, crevices and leaks using STOP-LEAKS .
4. Rinse the prepared surface with water.
