SikaLatex - Waterproof and water-repellent bonding resin - Sika

SikaLatex is an aqueous dispersion of synthetic resin which comes in the form of a milky, concentrated liquid.
Perfectly dilutable, it is added directly to the mixing water of hydraulic mortars.

Application

Substrate preparation

They will be solid and in good condition, clean and free of loose parts; they will be largely soaked with water without puddles on the surface.

Preparation of the slip

• They will be solid and in good condition, clean and free of loose parts; they will be largely soaked with water without puddles on the surface.
• Mixing emulsion: 1 volume of SikaLatex / 1 volume of water Take from this emulsion the quantity necessary to mix the dry mixture to a creamy consistency.

Mortar preparation

• Dry mix: 1 part cement / 2 parts sand 0-3
• Mixing emulsion: 1 part SikaLatex / 2 parts water Take some emulsion and mix the dry mixture to desired consistency.

Consumption

In tack coat: 0.120 l per m² and mm of thickness.
In SikaLatex mortar: 0.600 l per m² and cm of thickness.
