Sika MonoTop-3400 Abraroc is a single-component, cementitious repair mortar , applicable manually or by machine, with high resistance to hydraulic abrasion.

Application domain

• Structures subject to hydraulic abrasion (sewers, treatment plants, dams and maritime structures)
• Structures of water retaining structures (PH > 4)
• Protective mortar, resistant to abrasion
• Structures subject to severe abrasion and mechanical loads (storage space and loading docks, silo floors, industrial floors etc.)
• Suitable for XC1-XC4, XD1-XD3, XS1-XS3, XF1-XF4, XA1-XA3 environments according to EN 206.
• Concrete restoration work (principle 3, method 3.1 and 3.3 according to EN 1504-9).
  Repair of spalled and degraded concrete for infrastructure and superstructure works

  Increase in the bearing capacity of the structure by adding mortar

Application

Manual application

1. Sika MonoTop-3400 Abraroc can be mixed using an electric mixer, at low speed (< 500 rpm) or for spray application with a vertical shaft mixer, where 2 to 3 or more bags can be mixed in same time, depending on the type and size of mixer.
   For small quantities, the product can be mixed by hand.
2. Pour the recommended minimum amount of water into a suitable container.
3. While mixing slowly, gradually add the powder to the water, and continue mixing for at least 3 minutes.
4. If necessary, add additional water, but no more than the maximum amount specified, until the desired consistency is achieved.
5. The consistency must be checked for each mixture.

Dry application

1. The amount of water added to Sika MonoTop-3400 Abraroc is controlled by the operator at the nozzle of the projection machine.

Consumption

Depends on the roughness of the support and the thickness of the applied layer.
In general, ~21 kg of powder per m² and per cm of layer thickness.

Yield: 25 kg of powder represents approximately 12.3 liters of mortar
