SikaForce-420 L45 is a two-component polyurethane adhesive with high viscosity for the assembly of sandwich panels and similar constructions in various materials.

Application areas

SikaForce-420 L45 is mainly used for the assembly of profiles and sandwich constructions, composed eg of GRP, wood, metal, ceramic materials and pretreated plastics.
This product is intended for experienced professional users only.
In order to be able to guarantee the adherence and the compatibility of the material, it is imperative to carry out tests with the original materials under the conditions of the moment.

Application

1. The amount and positioning of the glue should be set so that the space provided is sufficiently filled after the parts are assembled.
2. The amount of glue and proper positioning should be determined by testing.
3. Component A must be well agitated to avoid sedimentation or separation.
4. Do not stir too much to avoid introducing air into the product.
5. Add component B in the proportion indicated and mix homogeneously.
6. Apply before reaching half of pot life and assemble parts during open time.
7. If you mix larger quantities, note that the exothermic reaction can significantly reduce pot life and open time.
