Sikaflex-527 AT is an STP adhesive sealant , mono-component, which hardens under the action of humidity.
Sikaflex-527 AT was developed for the realization of elastic joints , for universal use, inside and outside during the construction of bodywork.
Sikaflex-527 AT has good adhesion to a large number of materials that are used in the field of body construction.

Application areas

• Sikaflex-527 AT is suitable for seals, assemblies, simple bonding, and also for the production of vibration-resistant and soundproof structures for the repair and construction of bodywork.
• The Sikaflex-527 AT has good adhesion to all materials usually used in bodywork companies such as primers for metals and primers, metals and varnished synthetic materials.
• This product is only suitable for use by experienced professionals. Always carry out preliminary tests on common substrates and under local conditions to establish the compatibility of the sealant and the material.

Application

1. The surfaces to be joined must be clean, dry and free of grease, oil, dust and dirt.
2. The preliminary treatment of the surface depends on the specific nature of the substrate and is decisive for a durable bond.
3. Sikaflex-527 AT can be applied at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C.
   Changes in responsiveness and application properties must be taken into account.
4. The optimum temperature for substrate and filler is between 15°C and 25°C.
5. Sikaflex-527 AT can be applied using an appropriate cartridge/bag gun.
