SikaCeram-275 Marble & Stone is a white tile adhesive for floors and walls , modified by polymers, fast setting, multiflow, deformable, high covering power, frost and slip resistant, and with an extended open time.

Application

1. Use a low speed electric mixer (600 rpm) with a spiral mixing rod to mix.
2. Pour the recommended amount of clean cold water into a clean mixing container.
3. Gradually add the powder to the water while mixing.
4. Mix thoroughly until smooth and uniform in color.
5. Let the mixture stand for 2-3 minutes to allow the mixed product to 'ripen'.
6. Remix for about 30 seconds.
7. Apply a sufficient quantity of adhesive to the prepared fixing surfaces using the appropriate trowel/comb, until a layer of the required thickness is obtained.
8. If necessary, adjust the tiles.
9. Clean excess adhesive from the face of the tile and between tile joints before the adhesive dries.

Consumption

Consumption depends on the support, the profile and roughness of the support, the size of the tiles, the joints between them, and the laying technique (i.e. single or double gluing).
As a guide for a single layer of adhesive:

• 4 mm notched trowel: ~1.6 kg/m².
• 6 mm notched trowel: ~2.1 kg/m².
• 8 mm notched trowel: ~2.5 kg/m².
• 10 mm notched trowel: ~2.9 kg/m².
• Half-moon: ~3.9 kg/m².
