Sikadur-30 - Epoxy resin for structural bonding - Sika

Sikadur-30 is a 2-component, solvent-free, thixotropic adhesive based on epoxy resin and special fillers.
For use at temperatures between +8ºC and +35ºC.

Features

• Easy to mix and apply.

• Resistant to creep under permanent stress.
• Very good adhesion on reinforced concrete, masonry, natural stone, steel, cast iron, aluminium, wooden constructions and Sika CarboDur slats.
• Hardening is not influenced by high air humidity.

Application areas

Sikadur-30 is used for bonding reinforcement during structural reinforcement work such as:

• Sika CarboDur slats on reinforced concrete, masonry or wooden constructions.
• Steel plates on concrete.

Application

1. Mix components A and B together for a minimum of 3 minutes using a low-speed electric drill (maximum 600 rpm), until a homogeneous gray mixture is obtained.
2. Avoid inclusion of air during mixing.
3. Then transfer the mixture to a clean container and mix again at low speed for 1 minute in order to limit the inclusion of air to a minimum.
4. Mix only the applicable amount within the application time.
